| | Speed!!! As painful as it was.....it actually felt good to get this done!! We ran down to the HS Track and home. Took a warm up lap out, speed lap to track, then did speed with .5 mile jogs, then home. AP: 7:52 (this included our walks, jogs, etc) |

| | Set out for 11 miles but got in the middle of our little snow storm so we cut it early. I think Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny have their Holiday's mixed up this year!!! This is serious crazy weather (3 inches of snow and it was 70 degrees yesterday)! AP:8:11

| | Happy Easter Saturday!!! We woke up and the Easter Bunny had come (we celebrate Easter on Saturday) so we celebrated, had us a nice breakfast and waited for the sun to come all the way up before I even thought about running. Left my house about 9:45 and headed out a different direction then I usually do. I had a rough first couple of miles but then kicked it in and felt great!!! I was really surprised to see my AP. Felt good today:)~ AP: 7:34

| | Nice little tempo run this morning:). We ran an entirely differnt route then we normally do and it was quite nice:). Started with 1.5 warm up (8:36, 8:17) then ran 3 miles tempo (7:37, 7:31, 7:34.......shooting for 7:40 or less), with 1.5 mile cool down (8:23, 8:01....up a small steady hill). Put our average at 8:01 overall. I felt pretty good today and am hoping that these tempo runs payoff come race day, whenever that might be! |

Oh what a glorious morning............oh what a glorious day:) (a little tune entwined there). It's been a rough week in the Shepherd home with sick kids, crazy schedules and sleepless nights. So, I haven't been feeling well either (way sore throat, etc) and as of yesterday thought I wouldn't even be running today. I was ever so pleased to wake up this morning feeling SO MUCH Better!!! So, I was glad I could get out and run long with Heidi C. while she worked on her last 20 miler before Ogden. I was only able to do 15 with her but felt really good which makes me excited about things. Of course I am attributing it completely and totally to the weather!! I love me some chill in the air and complete cloud coverage :). Nice!!!

FUN FUN FUN Race this morning with 50+ amazing women from my neighborhood and my sweet sis!!! I have a good friend who organized this for all of us fully equip with matching shirts, bandanas, knee high socks and a personal bus (quite fancy actually) to escort us all to the start line! It was such a fun experience and an amazing memory~ This course was pretty downhill so I appreciated the PR as well!!! Makes me realize all the more reason I love running. Heidi C and I ran out a few extra times to get a little more distance in. Put me at 5.25 total. The race itself was 3.2. It was a great morning!!
