I ran this morning!! I ran, I ran, I ran!!!!  And, I felt Good!! I felt good, I felt Good, I felt Good!!! * Really, it was kind of a funny morning :).  I got a text last night from my friend Heidi C. who essentially said that despite, Rain, snow, whatever, WE WERE RUNNING!!! So, when I woke up to snow covered roads and fluffy snow falling, I knew there were no excuses :) (Heidi would come and pull me out by my hair if needs be).  I got ready and then got a text from my other friend Heidi W asking what we were doing.  I text back telling her we were going but then Heidi C and I sat in front of Heidi W's house for 10-15 minutes waiting for her to come out:).  Apparently, she set her alarm clock wrong and so when she originally text, she had just gotten out of bed! IT was funny! Her brain was having a hard time getting warmed up in the dead of winter.  So, we started out our jaunt and about a mile in, Heidi W's foot slipped off the side of the road and she fell on right on her stomach!! It made me feel bad but she is a tough one and hopped right back up!! Thank goodness the fluffy snow cushioned her fall, but the fluffy snow is the very reason she fell in the first place so.......................I guess it was the culprit after all.  We kept going but the snow was in our face so we turned and went down a road we don't usually go on.  About a mile later, Heidi C, hit a slippery spot and fell down right on her hip! Ouch!!! Honestly, do we keep running at this point?!? We walked it out for a bit until we came to some more fluffy (non slippery) roads and then started back into running.  When we finally reached home (it felt like it took us forever), Heidi W and I decided to go down the road a bit further to tack on an extra mile putting us at a whole Whoppin 5 miles for the day but HEY, I FELT REALLY GOOD so I was HAPPY!!!!  Now, I know it had something to do with the slower pace due to the focusing on our feet work but that's okay! I did feel really bad that both Heidi's fell however, and hope they are feeling okay now that the day is going on!! I am sure me falling with my big old Buddha belly would have been quite the scene so I am sure glad that didn't happen!! It just made my day start OH so much better.  Did I mention my brother is coming into town today to visit?? It'll be the first time I have seen him, his wife and little boy in a year and a half and the first time meeting his new baby ever so I am pretty thrilled!!! Happy December 1st everyone! Yippee!

I am glad you didn't fall with your belly either. I am so excited for you that you are having a girl!

I'm glad you stayed on your feet! The snow and ice makes me really nervous because I am such a clutz even without obstacles. I love how happy your blog is!

Kelli: How am I doing just getting back on the blog after week??? All of our snow has now melted! Figures. My bro came into town from Georgia where it is 80+ degrees and all he and his wife (and their little boy) wanted to do was see it snow and play in the snow and it ends up being the warmest week since Halloween!! Go figure!! How are you my darlin?? I sure miss ya~!

Burt: Hey Thanks!!! Thanks, Thanks, Thanks:). ha ha!! I know a few Heidi's but it just so happens that the 2 girls I run with are both named Heidi! Actually makes is easier for me:).

Britta: THANK YOU!!!! I am so darn excited too! It's still wierd!! How are you doing?? How is CA??? I really want to catch up with you. What's new??

Melody: Thank you also!! Yes, as bad as I felt that both Heidi's Fell, I was very grateful that it wasn't me. I too have my tendencies to be a bit on the clutzy side and the snow and ice only adds to that, mix that with running and........it's a recipe for disaster:). It was a fun morning!! Thank you for your sweet comments and for checking in. I hope you are feeling well!!!!
