So the schedule said Tempo today! Why do I hate tempos??? We were supposed to do a mile warm up, 3 mile tempo and mile cool down but decided that we would rather do a 3 mile warm up and 3 mile tempo instead! It usually takes us about 3 miles until we get into a groove or wake up :).  We ran "new Leaf" backwards today so it incorporated some up hill as well.  Then, we tempo'd home.  It was very muggy this morning but still beautiful!! Summer continues today with swimming lessons (Jack), soccer camp (Evan), summer school activity(Kael), work (me), baseball practice (Evan), 2 Ball games (Tyler), cleaning the house prepatory for RS party tomorrow night (me). Fun times! I am ready for this week to be over :).  Glad I got a run in to help me through it~

Splits: 9:01 (yes, nice warm up mile), 8:55, 8:45, 7:31, 7:21, 7:14 (wish we could have got that first tempo mile down but oh well :).

You gals looked strong today Kellie and those are some good tempo splits too! Good Job.

How on earth do you do all that stuff and work? Sorry, it boggles my mind even still. Superwomen.

Hey Clay!! Thanks! Likewise, looked like a walk in the park for you. I wasn't sure if you said something to me given the incoherent condition I was in (could you hear the extreme labored breathing?).Sorry if I didn't comply with running etiquette. Also, I talked to Joel and it sounds like he has a game plan. I am crossing my fingers for him that it all comes through. Let me know if we can help if not :).

Lily: It's called running around with my head cut off, talking on the phone ALL THE TIME, an occasional break down every now and again and, a very helpful husband!! Life is crazy! When did it get so crazy? I am ready for it to slow back down :). You wanna sale your house and move out to a field and participate in living off of the land with me? We could Home school our kids, mending our own clothes, etc?!? It's tempting some days! Na, life is good, just very busy!! It's that way for us all :). Thanks for checking in and for your nice comments (I am going to work on my Superwoman cape now :)).

Kellie Great Run!!! I'm right with you on Crazy Summer schedules-- maybe it's a good thing I didn't get into St. George. With my kids schedules I'm wondering if I would have time to really train. Good Luck getting through the week.
