Man, it must be the week for the "5 mile square", but it's a good one and so I will keep at it.  Why is it that Pre-FRB, I would have felt amazing knowing that I had run 5 miles a day but now Post-FRB, I feel so lazy, whimpy and inadequate only running 4-5 miles a day.  OH, I know why!!  Because there are people like Michelle, Kim, Kelli, Marion, Tom, Tyler, etc. who are running 10 miles a day, and also biking and doing yoga, What the heck!??!?! How in the heck!?!?!  Not fair!! (yes, I am now laying on the ground kicking and screaming).  HA HA, just kidding, I am proud of all of you, for real!!

I met up with Heidi C this morning (thanks for getting me out Heidi) for a nice little 5 mile run.  Because I sat up blogging until mid-night last night, I had a rather hard time getting out of bed and getting my body to move but by about 3 miles in, I was feeling much better.  Heidi is such a sweet heart and so much fun to run with, I always enjoy our visits.  Now I am at work wishing I was out running again.  But John Mayer rockin on my i pod is keeping me content, I love the man!!  Looking forward to our long Saturday run tomorrow and then a day of rest, yeah!!

You know dear- please be careful and NOT compare youself to anyone :) REally, you'll get depressed and quit or you'll do too much and get hurt, and then get depressed and quit. What you are doing is AWESOME!!!!! You've always got to remember that no matter what, you are still FASTER and run more than 99.9% of the whole rest of the world. You ROCK!! You are SO much faster than I am! Did you read my splits today- Molasses Marion! Every day you run is DARN GOOD! You should change your blog title to "I Run Everyday... I ROCK!!!!" Do you realize that it is very likely that you will qualify for Boston? HOLY CRAP!!! Have you had enough of my tough love cheerleading? You are AWESOME and don't you forget it! I'll meet you at Krispy Kream and we can throw dounuts at all of the people who did not run today! Wait, that would be virtually EVERYONE :D

Have a SUPER fun Friday night! Go on a date and celebrate how FABULOUS you are!!! ********

Stars for you!!!

Man, this is why I love you!! Yes, I loved the cheerleading and it did make me feel so much better. And, the stars were just the whip cream on top. I am so nervous about this qualifying thing that it almost makes me sick. What will I do if I miss qualifying by 2 or 3 minutes? I would be okay either totally dogging it, like coming in 15 minutes later, but can you imagine how tough that would be to miss it by just a few measily minutes?? I guess that is running for you!! We would be very dangerous eating donuts togethe because I do not care for the glazed ones, I need Cake donuts, so we can meet at Krispy Kream, get a dozen variety and split them straight down the middle. Okay, I am going to envision myself doing that too and maybe it will satisfy as if I had actually eaten them.............. not working......................not working...........still not working. Dang, I think we are just going to have to meet there then.

Have a great Friday too. You ROCK!!!

Thinking about the dounuts NEVER works :D As for the BQ- don't even think about it. All you really want to do is have a good day, a fun race. If you can beat your AWESOME time from last year- yee haw!!! If you BQ, I am taking you to Krispy Kream :D If you don't BQ and the race is a total DISASTER- I am taking you to Krispy Kream! Either way, you get to have a fun weekend in SG with all of your new & old friends and you get your dounuts!!!!

From Kelli on Fri, Sep 12, 2008 at 17:20:23

I think you will be just fine on the BQ. It would stink to be so close and not get it, but you have no worries!

Awesome week of running, and you have fun tomorrow on that LONG run!! I am so glad i do not have to be there. You guys are all so excited, CRAZY!!!!

From Kim on Fri, Sep 12, 2008 at 17:34:18

So Kellie, Are you going to go out on a 3:40 pace or a little quicker or slower? I'm still trying to decided what is best for me. It's going to be a great day! I just don't want to hit any walls! However, in my mind's eye I see myself crashing right through any wall that tries to stop me! We'll see..
