Short-Term Running Goals:

*~~Run Boston Marathon~~ Did it!! 2010~!!! SO FUN!

*Smooth has inspired me and I'd like to do the Utah Grand Slam sometime in my life :). Well, let's say before 2013 :).

*Improve my overall running abilities, stay healthy and Hey, it wouldn't hurt to lose a few pounds either.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as long as I can. Meet and establish new friends/friendships and enjoy running for what it is really about.

Personal:

I am a mother to 3 handsome, active little boys (11, 7 and 5) and a beautiful baby girl (Just turned one in March). I'm married to TylerS (also on this blog) and work as a Mortgage Loan officer where I have been for almost 14 years now. I love my job and the people that I work with. I love being a mom and the inspiration I get from Running! Life is busy and entertaining, It's great!

"Oh what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful Day" la la la la, can you all hear the tune in your head?? I am singing it as I blog this! Really, a very fun run this morning. A big thanks to Marion, Josse and Michelle for putting this together and working so hard to bring us out and accommodate so many pink runners, it was a blast!! Tyler and I met up and drove over with Mac, My friend JaNae and her hubby Kyle, Brandon and Tiffany(a first time 1/2'er or a virgin under Marion's classifications). The weather could not have been more perfect. The course was pretty and the ladies (and men, my hubby being one of them) were all so much fun too. On the way up the course there was a pretty strong head wind but it sure felt nice coming down. I was so excited to run this morning and get some miles in but knew I wanted to take it easy so as to go easy on my back and fool my chiropractor into thinking that I had really taken the day off :) I felt really good the entire time and now only have a little tightness in my muscles (lower back) but nothing that is prohibiting me from doing anything so I feel very lucky! I ran with Tiffany and Janae until the turn around, then got a bit ahead of Tiffany because her knee was hurting her and so she wanted to take it a little easier. Then JaNae and I stuck together until the last half of a mile when our hubbies met up with us and we ran in with them. I only got 2 pictures so if you want to see a bunch link over to Kelli's blog (Kelli) or Marion's or there is a link posted on Leslie's blog thanks to the services of her dear husband Herald who was the official photographer!! You will have to check out all of the pink outfits and the beautiful onsamble I wore accompanied by what else?? Bright Red Lipstick!!! We SO need to do this next year. It was a ton of fun!! Thanks again Ladies for all of your efforts!!

Avg pace: 8:47 (however this is just my running avg. I stopped my watch a couple of times when taking water breaks, etc. Just being honest here) :)>

Marion: Wow, I feel so beautiful after reading your sweet comment. If only you could see me right now vegged out in front of the computer with no makeup on and my hair all mangled from the day, you may thing otherwise:). That really was so much fun on Saturday. Thank you again for all of your hard work. I will not commit to over seeing the entire event (those rights are reserved completely and totally for Marvelous Marion), but I would love to help next year in any way possible!! Smooth: Again, I am so flattered! Thank you! I must agree that my hubby is pretty darn handsome and who can pull pink off like that? I think he actually agreed to wear the pink singlet just to show how versatile his wardrobe can be. Little does he know I am going to go out and buy him all sorts of pink items because it looks so darn cute on him!! Not really but I must admit I was impressed. You are so much fun, and I just love being around you!!! It was really SO GOOD to see you Saturday. I look forward to many many more years of running together and worshiping you as my running idol!! Merri: Thanks so much. Yes, you and Lily have to come run it next year. Marion mentioned that costumes were ENCOURAGED so my friend JaNae and I of course took that to the extreme but it was a lot of fun. If only you could have seen the people's faces that we passed along the way and all of the questions, FUNNY!!! Come out next year, it was a really good time!! Ty: As good as you looked in the Pink singlet, you may show me up with the pink Tu Tu as well. I think I best reserve that little piece all for myself. You can put it on for me and twirl at home if you'd like, grrrrr. JK. That was not very blog, family, friendly. However,those of you that know us know it was all in good fun. Thanks Hun, glad we can do these things together also. Saturday was a fun day~

Kelli: Thanks Darlin! Next year we need to work on Scott a bit harder. Maybe I will design a costume just for him. You think he'd go for it?? It's always so darn good to see you!

Michelle: Thanks so much. I agree that we need to do that kind of stuff more often. There was quit a turn out for the event, I was impressed. I love the running spirit around here!! What more could we ask for?? Thanks for the comment!!

Teena: WE MISSED YOU!!! Honestly, I had so fun but felt like something was missing!! Mark the event on your calendar for next year, you have to come!! Funny thing is that I felt sillier wearing the lip stick then I did the TU Tu!! You aren't supposed to run in lip stick but I promise it was all part of my costume, nothing more!! My back is actually feeling pretty darn good today so I am grateful for that. A few muscle twinges here and there but nothing more. Let's hope it continues. How was your Saturday boating day? You know- we should all post our ugliest pic's. I have conditioner wet hair, a runny nose, mascara all over my face and just look horrid. oh and I am shivering and have goose bumps from my protein shake.
