Same route as Monday today but I didn't feel quite as good.  The hill "Harry's Hill" was a bit harder for me and I think I was lacking in ambition because my legs felt a little heavier.  However, I was awfully pleased to finish and see that our AP overall was quit a bit better then Monday!!  That's always nice :).

Very fun run this morning!! YIPEE!!!  Heidi and Heidi are both going to the BYU game tomorrow in Texas so they needed to do their long run.  I was going to do my own thing but knew that I wouldn't wake up so I decided to go out with them.  We ran out into Benjamin and back.  It was such a beautiful morning.  The open fields make for cooler temperatures which I always welcome and overall, I just felt good today.  We passed Mac and then saw Michelle!! It was so dark that I couldn't tell it was her at first but I said "Hey Michelle" and then she came and ran with us for a minute, HOORAY!!!  OH YEAH< OH YEAH!!!!  It was so fun running with her again. We had some official business to discuss regarding the Mud Pig Wrestling we will be doing together tomorrow night.  Anyone looking for some cheap entertainment and want to come cheer us on???  Anyway, an added highlight came when we hit the last mile home.  It is a gradual hill leading up to our street and up until today it has been one of those hills that all but kills me.  I am not sure why, it is not steep by any mean, but just one that I don't care for.  Today, I felt like I sailed up it (okay, okay 8:34 avg.)!! YEAH.  I guess running Harry's Hill twice this week really paid off.  It was a fun run and I look forward to tomorrow morning when I get to run with JaNae. Happy Friday :)

Long run this morning with JaNae and Janie.  Is anyone seeing the trend that I have with running partners here.  It's usually Heidi and Heidi or JaNae and now Janie!!! Just a bit ironic I think.  So, early morning start at the Stake Center. I failed to give more detailed instructions to Janie on where we were starting to JaNae and I got started and then  met up with Janie about mile 2.  We ran around Spanish Fork, down to Bishops Store house, through the River Bottoms around the golf course, out into Salem to Harry's Hill and then back into Spanish Fork.  It was a nice morning. The Spanish Fork 1/2 marathon was going on so I got to see some familiar faces running (Smooth, Pat Loss, Stephen Amos, etc).  A mighty fine job to everyone who came out and ran.  It looks and sounds like it was a great race!!  My back is a bit sore and I am looking forward to a day of rest tomorrow :)

Oh the Payson Days 10K.  I actually have very fond memories and much gratitude to this race for several reasons.  1. This is the first 10K that I ever ran (back in 2000 I believe). They have changed the course since then but it has a bit of sentimental value due to the fact and also that it is what kind of got me started into running.  2. This is the race that I met Marion and Kelli at last year.  These girls have become such great friends and girls that I love to hang out with!!  Thanks for everything Ladies.  3.  After this race we get an unbelievable home cooked meal equipped with chocolate chip pancakes, buttermilk syrup and anything else that is completely bad for you post race and don't have to feel bad about eating a morsel of it! (THANK YOU MARION AND THE PIT CREW FOR FEEDING US) Oh, how lovely!! I love this race.

Tyler and I drove to the start (might I add how much I love having mornings with my hubby all to myself :). It is nice waking up and driving places together.  Just a little slip note there).  I started out with Kelli and we ran together until a bit after mile 3.  Kelli is still suffering with PF and gives herself absolutely no credit that she is still running, at a very impressive pace I might add with an injury!! I welcome any opportunity to run with her and so it was fun to hang together for a bit.  Even though I couldn't talk, and we had the world's heaviest breather behind us, it was still very fun.  Thanks Kelli.  After about mile 3 Kelli told me to go ahead and so I crept up just a bit for the last 3 miles.  I finished only a few seconds faster then last year and I was using this race as a training run so all in all I felt fine about it!  It is always so good to come to races and see so many familiar faces!! Everyone did awesome today!! Tyler took first in his age group, Walter took first overall, Mac did AWESOME, Marion, Michelle, Smooth, Kelli, Scott, JonA, Luz, Rachel, AWESOME ( I hope I am not forgetting anyone)!!!!!  Way to go Fast Running Bloggers!!  Fun Morning!~

Fall is in the air, I LOVE IT!!!!  I met with the Heidi's this morning and Michelle, HOORAY!! It was so nice to walk outside this morning and see Michelle right on time (as always, she is so punctual) and ready to run. We started out fairly slow and then picked it up a bit. Michelle ran to 2 miles with us then turned and went back, then Heidi W picked it up a notch and Heidi C and I hung together.  We ran "new leaf" and back home.  It was a great morning and nice to run with the girls.

It's now 10:45 and I just finished a work out video.  Nothing like getting a work out in right before bed time :).  I was going to get up this morning but didn't want to get out of bed.  So, all day I kept telling myself that I would get the kids to bed and do it later...........but.........it kept getting later, and later and pretty soon, it was 9:45.  So, I started and just got finished.  I am running 7 tomorrow with Heidi C and then Ty and I are traveling to St. George to run our last 20 miler on the marathon course. HOORAY!!  I am excited to go to St. George and really excited to get my last long run in before Taper time!!  It's getting close :)

Kind of a quiet morning this morning.  Just Heidi C and I were out for our usual Friday morning run.  Miss Heidi W is on a Disney Cruise (Lucky) and oddly, we only past one other runner during our route this morning (very different from the usual 8-10 runners).  I think everyone must be on vacation or still recovering from Labor Day last weekend, or perhaps from the Ultimate Pig Wrestling :)!!!  In any event, it was great to run with Heidi.  She is really doing well with her running and actually had to pull me along this morning.  We ran the "seventh Heaven" route this morning.  Just 3.5ish Out and Back!! Perfect fall temperatures were so welcomed this morning.  It makes it much easier to run!! Tyler and I are now on our way to St. Goerge to run our last 20 miler.  I get to go with MarcieJ and Tyler is running with Dustin so we are looking forward to that.  Have a great weekend ya'll!!!

My last 20 miler................check it off the list!!! Hoorah!!! Man, that is a good feeling!!  Tyler and I got up at 4:00 so that we could meet at the park at 4:30.  Tyler was meeting up with Dustin and Bill to run 23 miles.  I met up with cute MarcieJ who lives in St. George and had the opportunity to ride 20 miles up the marathon course to start.  Her sweet Father in Law picked us up and drove us up (what a nice man).  I also got to see her friends Courtney and Heidi again and meet Marissa and Sherri so there were 6 of us total.  I ran with Marcie for maybe .5 miles and she, along with Sherri and Heidi, took off.  Courtney (who may just be one of the sweetest girls I have ever met and who is also 2 months pregnant :)  and I ran pretty close together for the next 13-15 miles (before she took off) and Marissa and I ran the last 5 together so it was great to have some company.  These were fun girls and I am grateful that I got the chance to run with them.  By the time we got to the finish line (literally, the marathon finish line) Marcie has already left to go home and Tyler had went to get our car (he had driven up) so I proceeded to sit at the park and stretch, etc for an HOUR while waiting for him to come pick me up!!  That part kind of stunk but that's okay, it was quiet and peaceful and I played "dodge the sprinklers" a few times!!  It was a fun morning and has been a fun day down here in Sunny/HOT St. George!! Now we just got home from a movie and it's almost mid night so I am signing off and hitting the sack.  Night~

So I am a loser and did absolutely nothing yesterday!! Then, I felt so crappy about it that my hubby agreed to take a lunch run so that I could run this morning. I met up with Heidi W and we just ran 5 mile square. Neither of us had our watches so I am not sure on pace.  But it was a fun run and felt a bit faster then we usually run. Best part,  we were home before it was even day light basically.  I estimated we were running 8:05-8:10 pace.  Nice~~~~

Ran a hard 8 miles this morning.  The schedule said speed work but none of us were in the mood (surprised?) so we opted for a hard training run instead.  We ran to the top of Harry's Hill again (Man, this is killer), then back down and around New Leaf!! I am LOVING the weather these days though so that helps.  Turned out being 8 miles on the dot.  Fun running with the Heidi's today!

Met with the Heidi's this morning and JaNae for our last early morning run!! Next Saturday Heidi W is going to be in New York and the rest of us (Heidi, JaNae and I) will be hunting widows so we will have to see what to do about running.  But, back to this morning's run. We met at 5:30 and ran out into the Benjamin area 6 miles and back.  The weather was perfect today, even a bit chilly.  I wore a long sleeve shirt and actually got cold a time or two.   It was fun getting out with the girls and nice to clear my head.

Left at 7:00 this morning to run, MAN, I could get used to this :).  Heidi C and I ran out 2 and home.  It was a quick run and a great way to start the morning. I hope my energy levels are up a bit come Saturday.  Funny that I feel I have gotten more sleep lately and running less miles yet I feel a bit tired, can't figure that one out!! I am sure the spirit of the marathon will help come Saturday!!  Only one more running day until the big event. Can't Wait!!!
