Today was not an actual "mile" day, but a work out none the less and here is why.  I used to be both a cheerleader and a member of the Las Chalitas Drill team, back in my "glory" high school days (that were all but glorious).  There are times that I am both proud of this and also a little embarrassed, but it was times like today that I am very thankful for those memories, those friendships and just the idea of having a "personal THING" that I was and can be a part of.  The drill coach during my time on Drill team is still doing it today. In fact, she has been the Drill Team Advisor/Coach for I think going on 30 years now.  However, she has decided to quit this ever so long obligation as Advisor next year to move on to bigger and better things.  So, she has put together a "Drill Team Reunion" for all of the girls that have been on the drill team since she has been the advisor.  What we do now is learn a dance and perform it at where else?  THE HOME COMING FOOT BALL GAME HALF TIME!!!!!!  So, tonight we met for the reunion and learned a dance accoring to our era.  OH, it was funny!!  I am an absolute un-cord, it was comical.  But it was great to see old friends, have some "me" time and learn some moves.  We will see our presentation goes Friday night at the ball game.  Good times!!!

Do you want to go and get a shake at Barry's after the game tomorrow night? Maybe we can even go and drag main street.

You had me at "shake" TY. I say Heck yeah, lets go get a shake. Maybe meet up with some friends and chill. I will even go steady with you if you want me to.

Oh, how cute!!!

I am so tempted to come and watch. It sounds like fun, really!

Now, I was one of the geeky girls that those darn cheerleaders were so mean to! I am not sure I can be your friend anymore (KIDDING) BUT, in the end I won because I married the most popular jock at the school! And it was a BIG school!

Oh, I love it. Back to the drama involved during those high school days. Kelli, in behalf of the National Association of cheerleader around the Western United States of America (yes, that was made up), I am sorry for the way you were treated by us rude, selfish, and oh so lame, dramatic involved teen age drama queens (not including me of coarse) and am SO DANG PROUD OF YOU for shoving it in everyone's face by marrying a freeking stud, jock, perfect husband, good for you! :)

They really were not bad, I was kidding. But I sure did not like them...but you were not one of them!
