Okay, so this was officially the longest run I have gone on since the Marathon in October, can you believe that??  I have to admit that I was a little scared to go and there were several times during the run that I wanted to stop but, BOY IS IT NICE TO KNOW THAT I GOT 15 MILES UNDER MY BELT TODAY!!! YEAH!!!   A big thanks to Mac and Sue for hanging in there with me and pulling me along. I am really sorry that I held you guys back but do appreciate you letting me run with you today, thank you!!  We met up and ran out around the golf course, then out into Leland area.  There were some pretty brutal/fierce winds out around the golf course but after we got past that area, it was a beautiful morning. It is nice that it's starting to warm up a little bit.  It was about 27 degrees when we started and 32 when we finished, NICE!!  I have got to find a way to get this sciatic feeling better.  Hopefully it just corrects itself here soon, what do you think the chances are??

Now it's off to a busy Saturday! We have a baby shower and are going to the Draper Temple open house so I am excited for that!!  Have a great weekend everyone!

Splits: 8:12, 8:26, 8:36, 8:31, 8:10, 7:56, 8:06, 7:52, 8:08, 8:09, 8:18, 8:14, 8:20, 8:24, 8:13

Thanks Kellie for letting we tag along with you guys. It was great to go. You didn't hold us back it was a good run. Thanks for posting those splits. Have fun at the open house! My boys liked the bus the best :) It is so funny what kids pick up on.

HOLY FAST!!! You say you hurt, you say you are not running, but you are still super speedy woman! You are a natural born runner!

Have a great day!

Wowie Wow Wow!!! Your splits are awesome!! Have fun at the open house!

Thanks Ladies!!

Sue: We are home now and Yes, my boys liked the bus and the baptism area, font, dressing rooms, etc. It was a good afternoon despite me having to keep breaking them up in the temple. They like to pick on each other, but in the temple?? COME ON!! No, it was a fun afternoon!

Kelli: I don't know about the natural born runner part but Thank you. You should see me hobble around today. My sciatic is killing me. I just took an anti-inflamatory and am getting ready to ice. Hopefully it helps. We made it out of the temple and didn't have time to go to Frogurt. Guess we will just have to go there on date night!?!

Britta: How are you?? Thanks so much for the nice comment. You are so darn speedy. Your splits are way fast! It's good to hear from you!

Darn, you missed it! We were driving home from the Gateway at about 9:30 and I almost went there. But I settled for a shake from Wendy's becasue we had to go grab some groceries for tonights fajitas.

So, did you notice the lights in the brides room?

From Teena on Sun, Feb 22, 2009 at 17:16:33

Kellie,

You are so stinkin' amazing, fast, talented, etc ... etc ...

I am seriously in awe of you!!

Very nice run today. Unbelievably speedy ... especially considering your sciatic nerve is giving you troubles. Is the pain in your legs, hips, or back? Or perhaps all of the above???

Kelli:

I never got back to you about the lights in the brides room. Yes, they are darling, beautiful, unique, etc. and look like tiaras. It was so fun imagining all of the beautiful brides that will go in there to get ready to be married. How fun!!

Teena,

I am sorry I am just getting back to you. Thank you so much for your nice comments. You really give me too much credit. You are the maniac here. Look at you, injured and running 15 miles on Saturday, HOW IN THE HECK?!? I am in awe of you!! To answer your question. Yes, the pain is in all of the above. I can't feel it in my back as much until Tyler will push on it. And it starts on the left side, underneath my kidneys. Then it centers in my butt bone and shoots pain all the way down the back of my leg to my knee. Then, it also comes around the side and throbs in my left hip too. Does it sound like the sciatic??

From Teena on Tue, Feb 24, 2009 at 12:26:03 from 67.177.20.13

Don't be in awe of me ... I have decided to take some time off. The pain is just too much right now.

Yes, it does sound like sciatica OR the SI joint. Please be careful. Here is an AWESOME stretch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eR2fZE67ps

Please take care of yourself. Don't be foolish (like I often am).

Lots of Love!!
