So after my little "mood enhancement" night last night, it was sure a good thing that I got up and ran this morning. I literally ate myself sick on chocolate and sugar, but OH WAS IT FUN!!! I am going to try and convince the ladies that threw the bash to have one a month. I can see some serious "mood enhancing" benefits that would come to my life!!

I actually really struggled to get out of bed this morning and almost wouldn't have if my husband wouldn't have said "just think of how good you will feel when you are all done for the day". I changed up the thought a little and said to myself "and how crappy you will feel if you don't go after what you ate last night", so I hopped up and got outside. Of course it always helps when I have the Heidi's to go with. So, we ran New Leaf and then I tacked on an extra .25 at the end to try and get my mileage over 30 for the week (I was off on my calculations and thought I needed an extra .25 to get to 30, but I was actually just slightly over). It was a B-E-A-Utiful morning and now that I am done, I am so darn glad I went!! Happy Friday!!

And a Happy Friday to you, too...

Thanks Marion!! Yeah, I have decided I am all about Chocolate parties, I think they are the way to go!!

I have no plans for this year of racing. The only thing I have coming up is the Ogden marathon. I feel discouraged a little with racing and feel content to just run for the exercise and conversation. I don't know, I need to have a better attitude I think!! How about you? What is your schedule??

Kellie- a year of fun running is a GREAT idea! They say one week a month should be EASY. One month a year- off or super easy and a year down every few is the way to go!

I am doing Ogden 1/2, Utah Valley Marathon, RHPC 1/2 (you are doing this one ;), Hobble creek and St George if I get in. I am kinda hoping that I don't get in. I really want to only do one marathon a year, for the moment.

Good Job for getting out there. Every night before a run I have to remind my husband to kick me out of bed in the morning. It is sad but true.

Why is it so hard to remember that we love to run when we are all snuggled up in bed?

Kellie, I just read your comment that you don't have much racing planned this year. I so need to talk to you. I feel the same! I am going to PM you my #.
