This morning I met up with Heidi W and Kellie again for a little 3.5 out and back course (3.5 out and then 3.5 back).  Heidi just got home from a fun filled week in Lake Powell so it was nice to run with her, it had been way too long for me!!  We ran with Kellie until mile 3 and then she had to turn back due to time constraints that resulted due to me and Heidi's sluggish attempts to actually start running this morning, sorry Kel~!!.  So, after Kellie parted ways, we (Heidi and I) carried on and then turned to come back.  About mile 3.5 Heidi got a little twinge in her knee that I am pretty sure is her IT band, not good. She pushed through until it was getting too painful so we backed it off a bit for the last mile and a half.  I was surprised to see that we were still able to maintain a pretty impressive pace.  I hope her knee starts feeling better.  We are at the half way point until marathon day! She can't get injured now. :(.  It was nice running with the girls and just getting out this morning!!

Time to start morning Yoga with the Heidi's! It will help the IT, I promise!

Nice pace again. Your every day runs are so fast, you cease to amaze me.

Nice run and pace! Always fun to run with friends. Sorry to hear about Heidi's knee. Hope she gets it under control.

Is it really half way? You're right, nine weeks to go. Are you running Provo River this Sat. Good luck!

I can't believe its only the half way mark...that bummed me out. I'm really ready for this to happen. Enduring to the end is always the hardest part, right?

Hellooooooooooo Ladies!!! Kelli: Here is the difference between you and I. You run the same pace if not faster then I do with PF and triple the miles under your belt at any given time, and do it with ease, grace and flare! Whereas it takes every ounce of energy that I have along with a semi healthy body to acheive it!! What does that say about you!?! You're and animal!

Smooth: Thanks for the hopes on Heidi's knee. I am worried for her, I hope it's all okay too. Thank you for your comment and concern. ALways good to hear from ya!!

Mac: Yes, my friend based on our 16 week schedule we are a little over half way and I (running 20-40 miles a week) am feeling burnt out, I can only imagine you (running your what 60-80 miles?) feeling a bit burnt out or as if the day will never come. You really are amazing me with your mileage. You are going to do awesome this year at St. George, I just know it!!! :) But you are right, Enduring is the hardest part!! Endure.......Endure........Endure (talking to myself here :).

Oh, you are mistaken! It takes every ounce of energy I have AND zaps me the next day, too!!! You do what you do, FAST and 4-5 times a week, and you still kick my fanny in races. YOU are AMAZING!

Hmmm ... where is the cute name for this run? The seven mile heaven?? C'mon now Kellie ... you know that it brings a smile to my face when you name your cute routes!!!

Miss you!
