Got up and ran with the Heidi's this morning for our long run.  When we were getting ready to leave it looked like rain would be hitting us for sure, but we got no more than 2 little raindrops on us the entire run. To be honest, this morning's weather defined my exact idea of what "running weather" should be. It was beautiful and I LOVED running this morning. We just left the house, ran out to Osborns, down tree road and back.  Originally we had only planned on going 8-10 miles but when we hit tree road instead of turning around in the middle, Heidi W and I decided to take it to the end to get a little more miles in before turning around.  Knowing I have a busy day today I was anxious to get home so I kind of kicked it up just a bit and left the Heidi's at around 9.5 to finish the last 1 1/2 by myself. It was a really fun run this morning and one that made me realize just how much I love running and how grateful I am to be allowed the opportunity to run.  I am excited to take tomorrow off and hit it hard next week!! (First week I have broke 40 miles in a long time, it feels really nice.  Thanks to Tyler for being so accomodating this week and helping me out so that I could run every day!!:).

Splits: 8:58 (nice warm up mile), 8:46, 8:46, 8:41, 8:17, 8:04, 8:50 (big hill here), 8:31, 8:35, 8:00, 7:46.  Avg. Pace 8:29

It was so good to see you this morning. This is my first time to hit 40 too. I think my sciatic is paying for it a little .

Ty: First time in history I got more miles in over you!! I am proud of myself! Thanks for the nice comment.

Britta: Tyler actually put that pic on without me knowing about it. I made him change it. I do not want too close of a pic of me!! Plus I like having my kids in the picture, they are fun to look at!!

Josse: Yeah, we both got over 40!! My sciatic was warm today too and my hips are a little sore tonight but I am on cloud 9 knowing I had a good mileage week. Hope your sciatic recovers from your week!! Again, good to see ya. Hope to see you again really soon!!

Kelli: THANK YOU!! Look at your miles this week, I can not believe you!! You are going to do so good at Ogden, I can not wait to see your time!! Not only are you my identical twin sister, you are my idol :)
